Patuljasti pinč

Patuljasti pinč je ušao u naša srca neplanski, "na mala vrata". Do tada smo imali našu divnu koli kujicu Elu (škotski ovčar), zahvaljujući njoj ja i dalje jako volim sve britanske ovčare. Naša prva pinčerka je bila jako temperamentna kujica Aska (po rodovniku Flora od Zmaj Ognjena Vuka), koju smo dobili na poklon od prijateljice jer je nije mogla zadržati u iznajmljenom stanu. Aska je osvojila naša srca ljubavlju i temperamentom. Najvažnija i najvoljenija osoba u našoj kući za nju je bio moj pokojni muž Slobodan. Nažalost Aska nije živela dugo, svega 7 meseci, stradala je pod točkovima automobila... Aska je ipak živela dovoljno dugo da nas ućini obožavaocima ove divne rase - patuljasti pinč.
Posle Aske, kupili smo kujicu Mrvicu (po rodovniku Ki-Li Gea) i od nje smo dobili prva legla patuljastog pinča. U to vreme još uvek nismo imali odgajivačnicu sa svojim imenom ali kasnije, kada je sledeća kujica Zitta stigla, shvatili smo da stvar postaje ozbiljnija i prijavili u FCI sopstvenu odgajivačnicu. Upravo je temperament patuljastih pinčera, malih pasa sa srcem velikim kao u zmaja, zaslužan za ime naše odgajivačnice - "Mali Zmaj" (na engleskom jeziku bi bilo Little Dragon). FCI je registrovala našu odgajivačnicu pod brojem 4330. Naš cilj u uzgoju je da dobijemo pre svega zdrave i srećne potomke naših pasa, ali isto tako i trudimo se da budu selektovani i izložbenog kvaliteta i temperamentni, tako što Bossovoj skoro čistoj Hamaayan (izraelskoj) liniji dodajemo novu krv odabranih pasa nemačkih, italijanskih, belgijskih .... krvnih linija.
Moram izreći veliku zahvalnost mojoj prijateljici Natali Zorina (odgajivačnica Multatuli) koja je bila od samog početka moj po kilometraži veoma udaljeni ali srcem i saradnjom bliski prijatelj, koja mi je pomogla u prvim koracima u uzgoju patuljastog pinča nesebičnim prijateljskim savetima i smernicama. Što je još i najvažnije, naš prvi zaista kvalitetni patuljasti pinč je došao upravo iz njene odgajivačnice, naš voljeni Boss - Multatuli Bum-Bam Spasibo Mam. Boss je još uvek kamen temeljac u uzgoju patuljastog pinča u našoj odgajivačnici i volimo ga mnogo mnogo mnogo...

UTILIZATION: Companion Dog.

FCI-CLASSIFICATION: Group 9 Companion and Toy Dogs; Section 4 Hairless breeds; Without working trial.

BRIEF HISTORICAL SUMMARY: The Chinese Crested Dog comes in two varieties - the Hairless and the Powder Puff. The ‘Hairless’ have a crest of hair on their head extending part way down their neck, ‘socks’ covering their toes, and a plume on their tail. The rest of their body is, as their name implies, hairless. The ‘Powder Puff’ variety is covered entirely with a veil of long soft hair. While it is difficult to pinpoint their origin, it is said that they were owned by families of the Han Dynasty of China. The Chinese Cresteds were developed at this time as guardians of the treasure houses and, in a larger, heavier form, as hunting dogs. They were seen at shows in America from 1885 to 1926 but then were rarely ever seen for some fifty years.

GENERAL APPEARANCE: A small, active and graceful dog; medium-to fine-boned, smooth hairless body, with hair on feet, head and tail only; or covered with a soft veil of hair. Two distinct types of this breed: Deer type, racy and fine-boned, and Cobby type, heavier in body and bone.

BEHAVIOUR AND TEMPERAMENT: Happy, never vicious.

HEAD Smooth, without excess wrinkles. Distance from base of skull to stop equal to distance from stop to tip of nose. Head presenting graceful appearance with alert expression.

CRANIAL REGION : Skull: Slightly rounded and elongated. Stop: Slightly pronounced, but not extreme.

FACIAL REGION : Nose: A prominent feature, narrow in keeping with muzzle. Any colour nose acceptable. Muzzle: Tapering slightly but never pointed, lean without flews. Lips: Tight and thin. Jaws / Teeth: Jaws strong, with perfect, regular scissor bite, i.e. the upper teeth closely overlapping the lower teeth and set square to the jaws. Cheeks: Cleanly chiselled, lean and flat, tapering into muzzle. Eyes: So dark as to appear black. Little or no white showing. Medium size. Set wide apart. Ears: Set low : highest point of base of ear level with outside corner of eye. Large and erect, with or without fringe, except in Powder Puffs where drop ears are permissible.

NECK: Lean, free from throatiness, long and sloping gracefully into strong shoulders. When moving, carried high and slightly arched.

BODY: Medium to long, supple. Back: Level. Loin: Taut. Croup: Well rounded and muscular. Chest: Rather broad and deep, not barrel-ribbed. Breast bone not prominent. Brisket extending to elbows. Underline and belly: Moderate tuck-up.

TAIL: Set high, carried up or out when in motion. Long and tapering, fairly straight, not curled or twisted to either side, falling naturally when at rest. Plume long and flowing, confined to lower two-thirds of tail. Sparse plume acceptable.

LIMBS FOREQUARTERS: General appearance: Legs long and slender, set well under body. Shoulder: Clean, narrow and well laid back. Elbow: Held close to body. Metacarpus (Pastern): Fine, strong, nearly vertical. Forefeet: Extended hare-foot, narrow and long. Nails any colour, moderately long. Socks ideally confined to toes, but not extending above top of pastern. Feet turning neither in nor out.

HINDQUARTERS: General appearance: Hindlegs set wide apart. Angulation of the rear limb must be such as to produce a level back. Stifle (Knee): Firm and long, sweeping smoothly into hock. Metatarsus (Rear pastern): Hocks well let down. Hind feet: Extended hare-foot, narrow and long. Nails any colour, moderately long. Socks ideally confined to toes, but not extending above top of pastern. Feet turning neither in nor out.

GAIT / MOVEMENT: Long, flowing and elegant with good reach and plenty of drive.

SKIN: Fine-grained, smooth, warm to the touch.

COAT: Hair: No large patches of hair anywhere on body. A long and flowing crest preferred, but sparse acceptable; ideally beginning at stop tapering off down neck. In Powder Puffs coat consists of an undercoat with soft veil of long hair, veil coat a feature. Colour: Any colour or combination of colours.

SIZE AND WEIGHT: Ideal height at the withers: Males: 28-33 cms. Females: 23–30 cms.

FAULTS: Any departure from the foregoing points should be considered a fault and the seriousness with which the fault should be regarded should be in exact proportion to its degree and its effect upon the health and welfare of the dog.

DISQUALIFYING FAULTS · Aggressive or overly shy. · Any dog clearly showing physical or behavioural abnormalities shall be disqualified.

N.B.: Male animals should have two apparently normal testicles fully descended into the scrotum. The latest amendments are in bold characters.

Chinese Crested Dog

Chinese Crested Hairless dog I saw for the first time many years ago in a Dog encyclopedia. It was a love on first sight. Then I told to myself, I will have this dogs or I will die. Well, I'm writting this so.... I have them :) . Breeding Chinese Cresteds is not easy thing, especially in a country where people like big rases. We are pionirs with this rase, in our surronding.

We breed quality and healthy dogs first of all, hopefully with show potential too. Happiness and friendly character of these dogs took our hearts for ever. We follow our puppies in their homes too, do help to their owners in all they need. When our breed dogs win on shows we are happy and proud but that is not most important, health, good home and good life is counting the most.

My big support and "right hand" and co-owner ofr all Cresteds is my sister Jelena Stevanovic. She felt in love when met my first Cresteds. Her first Crested female was our Altina Nera Mali Zmaj, my present to her. Altina took her heart for ever and also hearts of all memebers of my sister's familly. Next our nacked boy Falco Certova Stena (import from Czech) went also to her home. He still lives there like a king. Now, all our Chinese Cresteds dogs are in my and my sister's Jelena coownership. Some live in my home, some in her.

Zwergpinscher - Miniature Pinscher

Miniature Pinscher entered to our harts and house without plane, on "small door". Till then, we had our beautifull Collie female. Our first MinPin was full temper female Aska (pedigree name Flora od Zmaj Ognjena Vuka), we got her as a gift from our friend who couldn't keeep her in rented flat. Aska entered to our harts with love and temper. Her most important and loved person in our house was my husband Slobodan. But, little Astra didn't live long, only seven months. With bad luck her and our, she finished her short life under one fast car... Aska lived long enough to make us fans of this beautifull breed.

After Aska, we bought female Mrvica (which means Little cramp - pedigree name Ki-Li Gea) and from her we got our first MinPin puppies. We still didn't have kennel name but later, when another female Zitta came, we realised that we need to have own kennel name. Temper of MinPins as small dogs with big hart like in dragon, gave us idea for kennel name - "Mali Zmaj" (on Serbian language it means Little Dragon). FCI registered our kennel under 4330 number.

I must say my big thank to Natali Zorina who was my long distance friend and helped me a lot from my first steps in MinPins, giving me friendlly support and all help when I needed, critised my first litters and gave her opinion when I asked for. Most important, our first really quality MinPin came from her kennel - Multatuli Bum-Bam Spasibo Mam - Boss. Boss was the main stone of our kennel in MinPin breed and we love him much much much...

We intend to breed healty dogs with high temper and show quality. Three things in our breeding have same importance - health, exterior and character of dogs.

MinPins also brought me some very dear friends - breeders and MinPin fans and I feel more rich with their friendship. Thank you all for being my friends.

My name is Zorica Dragic and I am an owner of kennel "Mali Zmaj", FCI No. 4330 registered 2004. In our kennel live Miniature Pinschers and Chinese Crested Dogs, since 2011. also one German Pinscher female. Our dogs are small but high temper and with big heart like in dragons, so therefore we named our kennel "Mali Zmaj" - "Little Dragon". We live in Serbia, in Belgrade. I was born 1957. and have two daughters Milica and Mina. My husband Slobodan unfortunately died in October 2008. in his 50.-es…. I am employed, I work in National Bank of Serbia and my dogs are my patient and my love.

My younger daughter Mina loves dogs and breeding, showing, just like me and I hope she will continue my work with breeding dogs. Mina finished Secondary school and is Veterinary technician and now is studying Professional veterinary. She is also practicing to be a judge. Mina is in show ring since her 12y, started at first in Junior Handling competitions and then after, continued with handling our dogs. Then she finished some serious dog training courses and now is also training / handling other dogs too.

My older daughter Milica is not interested in showing or breeding dogs whenever she is a dog lover, but she is big help in taking care of our dogs and she helps whelping females when Mina and I can't be with them.

Very important person in my kennel is my sister JelenaStevanovic who is co-owner of all our Chinese Crested dogs. Jelena gives me support in work for all I need and without her it would be much more difficult. She is my sister but also my best friend and we plane and travel together at shows.

We breed first of all healthy, but also quality pure breed dogs. Our puppies are dewormed, vaccinated and socialized, depending of their age. We are thankful to all owners of our puppies who show them and represent our kennel name on best way. Also we are thankful to all pet puppy owners who love their dogs and give them nice happy life.

Ja sam Zorica Dragić i vlasnik sam odgajivačnice Mali Zmaj, FCI No. 4330 koja je registrovana 2004. U našoj odgajivačnici žive patuljasti pinčeri i kineski ćubasti psi a od 2011. i jedna nemačka pinčerka. Rođena sam 1957. zaposlena u Narodnoj banci Srbije a psi su moja ljibav i strast. Živim sa svojim ćerkama Milicom i Minom u našoj kući u Beogradu (Zemun, Altina). Moj suprug je na žalost preminuo 2008. sa svojih 50 godina.

Moja mlađa ćerka Mina kao i ja voli pse i uzgoj, izložbe, rad sa psima…. U šou ringu je od svoje 12. godine, najpre kao takmičar u junior hendlingu a zatim kao hendler naših pasa. Nakon završenih kurseva dresure (pozitivna motivacija, kliker) počela je sa hendlingom i treningom pasa van naše odgajivačnice. Završila je srednju školu i veterinarski je tehničar a trenutno studira strukovnu veterinu. Obožava nemačke pinčere i naša kuja – jedini nemački pinč u odgajivačnici, bila je moj poklon, nagrada za završenu srednju školu. Mina je takođe na putu je da postane kinološki sudija.

Veoma važna osoba u našoj odgajivačnici je i moja sestra Jelena Stevanović, koja je ujedno i suvlasnik svih naših kineskih ćubastih pasa. Jelena mi pruža podršku u svemu i bez nje bilo bi mnogo teže imati odgajivačnicu. Ona je moja sestra ali takođe i moj najbolji prijatelj i mi zajedno pravimo planove za izlaganje i uglavnom putujemo zajedno.

Mi uzgajamo pre svega zdrave pse ali i kinološki kvalitetne. Naši psi su genetički testirani i sa urađenim pregledima patele (i kukova nemačka pinčerka) i očiju. Naša štenad su očišćena od parazita i vakcinisana u skladu sa uzrastom. Zahvalni smo svim vlasnicima naših stenaca koji ih izlažu i promovišu ime naše odgajivačnice na najbolji način. Takođe smo zahvalni svim vlasnicima naših štenaca – kućnih ljubimaca kojima su pružili ljubav i topli dom.
